How many acres a day can Gold Hill Aerial spray?
In ideal conditions, Gold Hill Aerial can complete about 400 acres per day. Daily acreage depends on field size and shape, crop stage, application rate, weather, travel distance, and water and chemical staging. Share your acreage and field details, and we will provide a realistic plan and timeline for your application.
What are the applications for drone spraying?
Drone spraying can support fungicide, insecticide, targeted herbicide, and spot-spraying applications. It is especially useful when field access is limited, crops are too tall for ground equipment, or mapping has identified specific areas that need treatment. We also discuss custom projects for golf courses, forestry, vineyards, orchards, and other vegetation-management needs.
I can get a helicopter or airplane to spray for less. Why should I choose drones?
Aircraft can be a good fit for very large acreage and broad, rapid coverage. Drones are often a stronger fit when precision matters: irregular or smaller fields, sensitive areas, late-season access, mapped trouble spots, or applications where reducing unnecessary chemical use is important. Do drones really do a good job?

Mapping can identify weed pressure, crop stress, and other trouble spots before treatment. Those insights can support targeted spot spraying or variable-rate planning, which can reduce chemical use and improve the efficiency of the application where conditions allow.
Do you offer one-time mapping and recurring programs?
Yes. One-time mapping is available for a specific question or field concern. Recurring programs visit fields 4-6 times through the season so conditions can be compared over time for deeper crop analysis and stronger field insight. They can also support field trials by documenting and comparing conditions across the season.
